So they'd have had an engine designed to work with the limits of these machines and probably not much further for computers. ![]() I believe there was only the regular editions of the PS4 and XONE out then. Particularly if you're developing for consoles (though this does apply to PC's as well of course, just to a lesser extent) where limitations are something you have to keep in mind alot when developing for hardware.Īnyways, if I remember right, Rise of the Tomb Raider was released primarily for semi-last gen hardware.
